1991 H Golf GTi 3drwith a mere 22k on it, it looks absolutely like new, the speed the biddings going its going to make a tidy price, its upto £4600 With eight days left to go! (bidding started at a grand)

My thoughts were that it would make circa £6k but I'm begining to think I may have misjudged things!

22K in 15 years Call me cynical, but who in their right minds would own a Golf GTI and do such few miles?

Very few people! lol hence the cars uniqueness (is that a word? )

I can smell the newness from the pictures, if the car was Oak Green Metallic I hate to think how high bidding would get!

I owned a Mk2 GTi back in the 90's, and love'd it to bits. I think this car should got to an enthusiast that will use it, for what it is.... and not wrap it up in cotton wool..... quattro' are my thing now,So i'll have to give it a mis then!!....What a shame.
Red is much nicer than oak green, but that's just my opinion.

I reckon 8-10k or more seeing as the ammount of exposure this is getting on motoring forums and the fact it appears to be totally genuine and perfect!

Still one of the most fun/chuckable cars I've ever owned.

1/E30 M3
2/Golf Gti 16V
3/Porsche Boxster (current)
5/Corrado G60
etc.

I'm tempted by this!!!!

My Mums 307 has just under 8k in 3 years! She drives regularly but just not far. Suppose, someone like her that just liked the car. Close enough to the condition of that golf when we sell it, but for the rear bumper and boot lid surround. Golf clubs in and out 3 times a week takes an unfortunate toll.

£6900 now!

For that price it looks like it will be just garaged only to appear for shows. As long as people get to see it then that ok. In some ways its too rare to risk it on the road, just buy a decent £2k car to do that with and keep this and win a few awards.

I would drive it. When they are that clean it makes it so much easier to keep it clean. I have managed to keep my 13 year old S2 pristine. It just takes care and attention.
