how to reset service reminder

on a mk4 Golf ?

all the Ebay stuff doesnt work, and various searches online that tell tales of turnign on ignition and holding down mileage reset doesnt work.

My Car gets serviced every 10,000 miles, but its not been possible to book the car in for the last 3 weeks and the bloody reminder is starting to anoy me

Was in the VW dealer the other day having the MOT done on my Mk3.

They couldn't get it reset either lol.

Its probably a slightly different process on the Mk4 so try posting on the GSFCarparts forum (www.gsfcarparts.com/forum)


They are normally pretty good!
