After five and half years of tear arseing around, I've had to let my Integra go.
My kids have cried "enough" and a 4 door saloon beckons.
I have an opportunity to buy a friend's 2 owner S4 auto with 85k on the clock. The car is in good condition with a full VAG service history.
What do I need to look out for, are the cars as tough as their reputation suggests, and more importantly, are they FUN?
Are there any owners websites I should consult?
Many thanks,
ex TypeR

Has the cambelt been done? Should be at 80k. If not then i'd give it a wide berth.

They had trouble with exhaust manifolds on the 2.7 V6. So I'm told.

After the trauma of letting my Integra go, my new wheels is a '97 A6 2.4 V6. She is a completely different kettle of fish to the manic Honda.
I need advice from fellow "Audisites" regarding a good independant specialist in the South Bucks area for servicinge etc.
I paid £2,800 for my new car.
She's a 1998 2.4 V6 with 72K on the clock.
I hope I did well in my purchase.
All advise gratefully recieved.
