A3 servicing, what do you pay?
Discussion
Time for the A3's annual service in a few weeks. Nothing major needs doing from what I can tell (ho ho...) but I'm considering having the belts done too, as I plan to sell the car in the next 8 months.
It's a '98 1.8T, what should I be paying? I believe the last service bill was around £280 (it's at home, memory serves...), from an independent chap, which included new bushes and brake pads all round and new front tyres (P6000s).

Mine (3.2 V6 Quattro DSG) recently had it's 1st service (13,000 miles) cost £205 although they quoted me £270 - John Fox Audi Notts, but no extras like tyres or belts - don't know if that's good or bad but seemed reasonable to me.
I was £280 for my old 3.2's first service (10,000) which included 2 wiper blades at about £30, so call it £250. Bloody expensive in my book for an oil change. I complained to Audi about it when they did a follow up call about my service experience
My Boxster is only £200 fixed price for the first service which comes at 2yrs/ 20,000 miles
