Good performance but thirsty. Easy to tune but tend to blow their turbochargers apart then. Need their handling tightening up.

Basically an S4 engine with a few detuned bits (just a different map or something more sinister?).
Manual one is the spiritual successor to the urS6 IMO. Last easily tuneable quick manual Audi.

Keith Murray lent me his last year and I found it a bit "soft" in comparison with urS. It needs chipping and firmer suspension settings.

I'd give anything for soft suspension in my S at the moment to be honest. The ride quality, or lack of, is getting really rather tedious.

It is, however, not being written off. Which is always a bonus.

Had a 2.7T Avant a couple of years back. Not the sport model.

Pros - beautifully assembled, spacious, comfortable, neutral image

Cons - lack of steering feel, chassis un-involving (you feel like you're sitting on the car rather than in it), performance not really what you expect - smooth and torquey but I expected more fun from a twin-turbo V6! Oh, and the fan belt broke on holiday in France, and car was eventually towed back to UK (to cut long story short!!).
