Tales of my travels across Europe in my Corrado and the car's performance alongside the other cars on tour are featured in the January issue of 'Performance VW', out now. Needless to say, I am rather pleased

Couldn't help notice you're Irish, where'd you get a copy of the mag? I went looking today but couldn't find one.

Cheers,

Brian.

It was a fantastic holiday. The roads were incredible, the scenery stunning and the company was superb. My fellow hooners were great company and completed the holiday for me. I had been concerned that it was going to be a lot of driving for me as I had no co-driver and I suffer with insomnia but, truth be told, I don't think I'd have let them drive as I was having so much fun I could not have dreamed that the Corrado would perform as well as it did and I was really impressed with how well it coped with the demanding twisties and the Ring.

Yeah Emma I'd like to add my applause to the others. Sounds like you had a great time, and it was a well written article. Hope those notorious cheapos at PVW paid you a fee for all those pages of copy!

Cheers
John

They actually chased me for an invoice - how refreshing

I had the most thrilling time and the drives of my life. I never imagined that it could be so much fun. My fellow hooners really did complete the trip. Nick at Dettaglio did a fantastic job of organising the tour and he was so incredibly patient throughout. Adrian the mechanic was a star too and he taught me how to change a headlamp bulb

Yep, stumbled across the article by accident. I don't normally buy PVW (being an Audi man ) and thought I recgonised the name and car!

Great article which really conveyed what a great holiday you must have had.

P.S. I also appeared in print this month. If anyone has seen Audi Driver, there I am in the readers cars section for the S2 Coupe article

Cheers,

Steve.

A bit late , but I just read the article in forementioned VW Mag. Looks an interesting trip indeed!

Was good to see those type of trips are open to all, and not just the 'high end income' exotics .
My VR6 Golf auto would have to do well to be able to keep up with that convoy though! (Standard apart from Koni & K&N)

Doing the Le Mans bash this year, but hope to make a Trip to the 'Ring ' sometime in the future...

good one
