MK IV Golf :: Retro-Fit Remote Central Locking
Discussion
Afternoon folks,
Having not long picked up the desert beige beauty, we're already tiring of not having remote central locking!
I've posed the question on uk-mkIv's but had no real response as yet, so, does anyone have any ideas on retro-fitting remote central locking to a MK IV Golf.. We already have central locking, but would like remote blippage..
I guess the two options are :
1.) Utilise VAG parts to fit OEM remote blippage
2.) Install an aftermarket alarm that includes remote blippage..
Any ideas on costs on number 1?
Your guidance is much appreciated!
cheers,

Bet all the wires are there for the OEM actuators...
I don't doubt that for a minute!
I was kind of hoping it would be a nice simple case of plug some "bits" in and find someone with VAGCOM to pair the lot and off we go...
Whether or not that is the case, I'm yet to find out!
