Has anyone come across a solution to what seems to be an ooooh soo common problem on Audi TT's, Dash Pod Failure, which normally seems to manifest its self by way of over reading fuel or temperature gauges.

About to recieve a shafting from from our local caring sharing Audi dealer once again to the tune of circa £700.

Any Auto Electricians out there with a miracle cure?

I don't think that there is a miracle cure. £600-800 at the Audi garage seems to be the only solution. I do recall seeing somewhere that there is a company which will look at it if you take the dash pod out and send it off to them. I think their minimum charge is £250 if they can fix it. (I could be way off as this is just something I vaguely remember). In any case, if you search on www.tt-forum.co.uk there is lots of info. In fact that is probably where I saw the above.

Paul.

I assume you are out of warranty - but your post suggests it has been done before, so I would push back and request the dealer requests it as good will. A letter/call to Audi UK stating you know it is a known issue, and that you shouldnt be expected to pay so much to repair an item which should last the lifetime of the car...
