ive just brought a MK4 Golf GTi 2.0 8v. I would like to know whats the best way to get more power out of it?

Sell it and buy a 1.8T. You're going nowhere fast with that engine.

Insurance is £450 more per year

Well petrol, actually, you just need the laughing gas for the engine to burn it.

Yep i already know that!
The Nitrous breaks down due to heat of combustion liberating its oxygen which you supply extra fuel to be burned with.
More fuel and air/oxygen= bigger bang.

Yeh but you would have to spend many times more than that £450 to get that slug of an 8v engine to have any pep.

Couple of hundred quid spent on remapping the 1.8T however & you have an instant 200+bhp
