Loads of spec with 14k miles. It's at a VW dealer and I've been offered a reasonable trade in price against it, but don't know if it's overpriced at £45k.

Help greatly appreciated.

No offence but do you really want a V10?

Some excellent deals on 2.5 tdi SE Sport at the moment and you can get these new for low to mid £30k.

I've just bought one!

I went looking for a TD (2.5 or 3.0 V6) but thought if it's a good price I'd push the budget a bit. 50-80 pace is pretty impressive and I hate being stuck in a line of traffic afraid to take more than one car at a time etc.. If it's not a steal I'll be looking at the smaller engined cars for sure. Spec is very high.

Can't answer you but why not ring a dealer and ask for their thoughts, cos they'll get any servicing etc.

I find Jonathan Kingsley very helpful at Dane Chester on 01244 390033.

He'll tell you if the price is reasonable.

Personally, I don't find the 50-80 accelleration bad on mine but try one at a dealer and check for yourself.

The newer cars have the latest sat nav which I find great at times.

I called Jamjar to get their trade in for the Treg and they said £34 to £36k 'clean', so it's seems the dealer's got maybe £8k to play with!

The V10 is worth the extra in my opinion. Very quick and the fuel economy is about 25mpg about town and 28-30 on a motorway run. My business partner has one and even though I hate 4WD's, this car is a pretty impressive drive.

Unless you buy it privately, surely it's also a massive benefit in kind tax wise.
