A4 Cabriolet auto's

Starting to look at these for the wife (2002 model onwards) and have heard a couple of horror stories about the autobox. Anyone know of anything I should be looking for?

I had a 1.8T auto/tiptronic cabrolet as a loan car while mine was in for some work, the only thing I did'nt like, was the rear visability with the hood up, it's terrible, so make sure you try one. Also try different engine's, I have the 4.2 V8 in my S4 but I would'nt bother with this in a cabrolet because I think it's a waste. John
