hi,

If i bought a normal A6 2.7 quattro avant, would i be able to put 19in RS6 alloys straight on it? would they fit ok?

Would it cost much to have this car lowered too?

many thanks

mark ,RS6 like the 4.2 has a wide body kit on it to take the bigger wheels don,t think 2.7 has the big wheel arch kit so i would be supprised if they would fit if you look at some pictures you can see the much bigger wheel arches . on a couple of my Audi, i have used H"R spring and damper kits they are great quality kits and do not kill ride quality don,t know wether 2.7 is lower than std but i would imagine it will still stick like sh1t to a blanket with vary little body roll ,never touched the 4.2 because it always supprised me how well it corners for a big car ,my brother has a scooby WRX and it will stick with him round the twisty bits no problem .having 300BHP helps too simon

Original RS6 alloys may be a problem with the standard A6 body, but you should be able to source some aftermarket RS6 alloys with the correct off-set - www.roachfordtyres.co.uk may be able to help.

IMHO 19" RS6 alloys look fantastic on any A6.
