Folks, I need some info, basically I need the type and part number of a light bulb!!!!!!!!!! There is no info given in the car manual, the advise given in the manual is "take it to the nearest dealer" Having done this once before and being charged a 1/2 hours rate to change the bulb kinda puts me off. Oh and when telephoning said dealer was told "we'll have to see the bulb to match correct type!"

So can anyone help???????????

VW Polo, model has just been superceeded by latest one, mine has twin "mercedes" style front lights NOT gas discharge. Defective offside dipped headlamp (large one) has a Xeon bulb fitted I neet the type and part number.

cheers

MoJo.

They also have wee booklets that tell you which bulb fits which car... Just have a look in one of those.

Well just take the bulb out, and inform them of the part number they require to order, a new one...
