Skoda Scout driveline vibration
Discussion
When my Scout gets warm it develops a load and road speed-related vibration.
It is most obvious when on smooth motorways such as a light throttle load or when the road comes to an incline.
The feeling is like a heavily out-of-balance wheel. On downward slopes, or off throttle the vibration goes away (so not wheels or tyres).
It also feels too intrusive to be just gearbox, and it is not engine speed-related. When it is cold and just driving around normally it is sweet as a nut.
Car is a Mk III diesel Octavia, DSG with a 110k miles on it.
