The wife wants another car & whilst giving her A4 cab a spruce up yesterday, I noticed the glass rear window is coming adrift from the roof, quite badly, not sure how I never noticed it before.

Anyhow ,the question is, what is the best way to fix this , is there a special adhesive for this application or is there anything more mainstream that will do the job ? I may be forced to perform an on-line slap to anyone who suggest gaffa tape , biggrin:

I used this ki:

It's been on about a year and still holding strong. Both bottom corners of mine had gone but fortunately wasn't leaking.
It's a bit messy to do, make sure you mask up really well as the stuff gets everywhere and if your roof isn't black it will look really untidy. Not difficult to do though and definitely cheaper than a new roof!

I used the same kit but also found that a few tennis balls on the inside between the shelf and the bottom of the glass pushed the glass up to the roof with the perfect amount of pressure.
