C7 S6 GPF/OPF start
Discussion
September 2018, apparently.....
I've owned a 2016 S6 4.0T for the past three years / 30k miles and it's been faultless.
A great dog taxi / family transport / mileage muncher, but it also goes like the bloody clappers when prompted.
563bhp / 746Nm from a discrete-looking 'nice A6' ticks the boxes for me.

The rules changed September 2018. The cars sort of did.
Theoretically anything registered from 1.9.18 on needed an OPF to meet WLTP regs, but I'm not sure any C7 S6s ever got one. The model ended at about this time. The only 68 registered C7 I see on sale currently (YS68KFY) was actually built on 17.07.17 so won't have one. There was some sort of "leeway" legislation that allowed non-compliant cars to be registered. I don't know the exact details of this but I presume it was to prevent delayed/stuck/lost/broken/problem car from simply needing to be scrapped.
