A3 8Y Manual - Clutch Overheating/Drive System Fault
Discussion
Hi all,
This is on my A3 8Y 2021 35 TFSI Manual. Driving home today, minute or so after setting off - pulling out of a junction it feels weird like I was riding the clutch as I let the clutch out (higher revs than usual as a result). Perhaps like it was sticking engaged or something?
About 30 seconds later I get a clutch overheating warning, into a Drive System Fault message to visit service centre and engine light.
Pulled over and restarted the car, seemed to clear the issue but think I could smell the clutch burning but feeling was back to normal.
Annoyingly (or good depending on how you look at it) the car goes back at the end of the lease in 2 weeks. Interested if it's a common issue/fault (I couldn't find anything online) and worth seeing Audi about?
Cheers!
