I've been looking to make the jump to full electric for sometime for the daily, but nothing has really floated my boat. These look quite attractive through my companies salary sacrifice scheme. I've been trying to decide between the Edition 1, which come fully loaded, or the Macan 4 EV, which is similar money, but far less well equipped. I'm sure the latter would be a better steer though! Anyone else considering one?

Same interest here - a combination of Tesla not bringing the Model X over in RHD and Tesla opening up most of the superchargers to other makes means other options are much more viable now.

I like the fact this is the second gen at the platform for VW Group and hopefully much more resolved / coherent / bug-free than the Cupra Born we have.

Going to wait to see when they actually appear in dealerships to have a look at one in person, then probably wait out for an ex-demo - not sure where residuals are going to be but suspect not good given Audi were pushing financing offers from the day of launch.

We already have the Cupra on salary sacrifice so don't fancy having both main cars through the company.

Has anyone seen one in the flesh yet?

I popped into my local dealer this week. They didn't have one, and the person I spoke to wasn't sure when they would.
I've gone ahead with my order. It's been approved by my company and I'm just waiting for Leaseplan to confirm that they've placed the order with a dealer.
There's currently a couple of incentives wgich i wanted to take advantage of.
1. A free sound & vision pack, which is usually a 3k option and adds a lot of nice tech.
2. A free Ohme charger, and installation.
I also wanted to go with the Edition 1. Which I believe is a time limited model.

The owner of the CCTV firm who do our cameras has one and doesn't like it at all. Says it's too heavy for the brakes it comes with and the range, especially in winter, it terrible. On the plus, he did say it's incredibly quiet inside which is great for conducting business phone calls.

He did well to get one, considering it only went on sale in the UK two weeks ago.

Considering it did only go on sale two weeks ago, how does he know what the winter range is like?

He did incredibly well! Even Audi dealers don't have them, and none of the motoring press have driven one!

Lol aye that would have been a miracle! Apologies, it's the E-Tron I believe he has.

That makes sense! Hopefully this new platform moves things on a bit. The reviews for the Macan EV, which the Q6 shares, seem to be positive!

Yeah sorry about that. It would make me a little wary but then I guess tech moves fast so hopefully all good.

It's being handled by Audi Corporate Sales, in Slough. I'm not sure if the handover will be performed by a local dealer, or whether it will be delivered to my home, as I've not purchased through SS before.

I've gone for the Edition 1 Q6. It's pretty loaded, and I've also added pearl paint, nappa leather and panoramic roof.

I’ve gone with one of these for the family wagon. Edition 1 with pan roof.

Felt that the mix of range, interior and size were better than anything else going.

Will test drive one when available which should be in time to cancel if it’s terrible, hoping Macan reviews transfer enough for that not to be the case!

Test drove the EQB which I found terrible to drive, felt sloppy and heavy.

IX range was poor for the 40, really liked the interior and drive. Maybe controversial but I liked the looks in black with the big wheels. Got pricey as needed options for me.

Q4 was ok but reminded me a bit of ugly Tesla blobbyness and didn’t have proper one pedal driving.

Q8 etron was really nice and felt it looked the best but range, lack of one pedal and price for an old platform didn’t make sense.
