Coolant flange 1.8T Audi A4

Been having a minor loss of coolant but finally found it, looks like the coolant flange is leaking. A bugger to get to.

It actually looks like the component next to it is leaking but it might be leaking onto it.

What is the component next to the coolant flange ? Part of the air/exhaust recirculation system ? Therefore not containing coolant ?

Ok, so I think it's an air circulation valve so wouldn't have any coolant in it. Must be the coolant flange and/or pipe connected to it.
