Audi Q2 - Adblue warning message

5 days ago when putting the key in to start my 2019 Q2 I got a message saying "1400 miles left put in 4.5 - 6.5 litres of adblue"...or somesuch. I duly bought some and added it on Sunday however it only took around 3 litres I'd say. I expected the warning to go out but each day this week when I have driven it, it hasn't.
I have now driven 2 x 60 mile+ trips in it today and thought that that might help but it didn't. I am still getting the same message however it is down to 1200 miles now!
Any ideas folks?

I’ve found ad blue a pain to fill from a container unless you do it slowly to avoid the usual glugging and splashback as air escapes from the tank. In my A5 I’ve tended to run mine down to about 1,000 miles so I’m sure can put a full 10l canister in.
Not sure if this is true or not but some say put your key in the ignition and press it in (but don’t start the engine for about 30 seconds to give the car register that the Adblie tank has been refilled).
I’ve had a separate issue of ablue caking up at the injector. It was spotted at the last service with a fault code (no CEL though) and it was cleaned. On my way up to Scotland though, I failed to notice that my car was in a DPF regeneration cycle when I stopped at a motorway services until I got out the car and heard the cooling fan running at full pelt. When I set off from the CEL stayed on - it’s either been triggered by interrupting the regen or the adblue nozzle caking up again - I’ll soon find out as its booked into my local Indy’s for its MOT and I’ve asked them to investigate the CEL.
