Golf R Resonator section - Hatch and Estate the same?

I'm looking to source an OEM resonator section for a 7.5 Golf R estate exhaust to replace a de-res pipe.

Options I've seen and speaking to a couple of breakers suggest there's no difference between the resonator section for the estate over the hatch, it's just the last section which passes into a single silencer (hatch) or separate left and right silencers (estate) which differs between the models.

The part numbers 5G6 253 181 KM and 5G6 253 181 EB are what I have been working with, and both appear to correspond to the entire rear section of the exhaust, but I'm only interested in the resonator section.

TL;DR - will a resonator section from a hatch fit an estate?

I cannot answer your specific question but just to advise the Model year also means the exhaust differs.

The OPF cars do not have a resonator from factory to try and balance out the muffling of the OPF
