As above on my wife's Audi A1 the DAB function on the radio has stopped working, it will initially work after the engine has been started for the first time each day and after about thirty seconds it will go off and the display indicates there is not a signal, the FM station is fine. If we travel out of our area it will still not work so I am guessing that it is nothing to do with a poor signal in our area. Anyone had a similar problem or can give me an idea what may be wrong and a possible cure.
Many thanks.

We do not have a dash cam. The DAB seems to be on a cycle, it will work for about 30 seconds then go off for about thirty seconds and then come on again; rinse and repeat add nausium.

Some dab have a scan function where it will play 30s of a stration then move to the next then the next.

Not sure audi do it as I've seen this on a mitsubishi but not seen it on my a5.

You haven't selected that have you?

No, the not available signal is applied to all stations on DAB when it drops out.

UPDATE.
For those of you who are interested and for future reference.
Took the car to Audi, they diagnosed that the amplifier for the DAB, which is located in the rear passenger side of the rear quarter, had an intermtitant fault; this was replaced and the radio now works perfectly. Fortunately the car is still in warranty and was all done FOC.
