Just read on the net that VW cant afford to euro 7 with the Polo so its going, As the Skoda and Seat use the same platform guess there gone too.

There wont be any cars to buy at this rate.

There will be plenty.

But they won't be from the traditional behemoths.

Kia Picanto, Hyundai i10, that's about it. Thankfully those two are pretty good.

They are doing EV replacements. The current ICE cars might hang around for as long as they technically can and sold alongside.

VW ID2 will replace Polo when they decide to build it. There was a concept a year ago and a GTI concept in September https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-news/first-offic...

SEAT cars are being stopped anyway in favour of Cupra. The Ibiza will get indirectly replaced by a production version of the Cupra Urban Rebel, I didn't realise there was a more normal version called a Rabal https://www.cupraofficial.co.uk/new-cars/concept-c....

There will be a Skoda version of these, I don't think they have shown anything yet or said whether it will be called a Fabia or not.

Why on earth has this been moved here?

Several other VAG topics on the same page in GG that should also be moved here if this one is worthy of shifting.

Baffling! confused

The traditional European manufacturers are now pricing themselves out of the game. The Chinese are stepping into the the void they are leaving.

And the rest. Dacia Sandero, Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Swift/Ignis, Mazda2, Nissan Micra and Renault Clio to name but a few. MG has just released a brand new MG3

The non-VAG references don't make eany sense in this sub-forum.
