Can someone offer advise please.

Wife started the A6 (3.0L Allroad fwiw) turned it round and waiting for the gate to open it shut down (so maybe 2minutes running time) - it now wont fire, only crank.

I noticed the other week coolant was low, and looking in to the serivce menu etc and the dash said low coolant, so I am guessing the car has shut down with low coolant.
So I have topped it, but still no starting, and whilst cranking the engine management light is lit and glow plug light flashes.

Disconnected the battery to see if it can help clear anything. But I suspect it is in 'shut down' mode.

I am stuck / blocked in on the drive with a dead car. Drive way is slight up hill, and gravel, 3 of us have tried to shift it, but no chance.

Local village garage guy is good but unavailable until Monday.

Ok - Google-fu Says the coolant would not have an effect

I notice ignition on that I have the Engine light on solid and the Glow Plugs lamp is flashing continually

I have checked all fuses thinking a fuel pump fail - all intact

Now, being an auto and 4wd it will not take towing very kindly will it. …..
this is going to be a disaster as where it is stuck is pretty inaccessible

Closing this out should it help....nothing to do with Coolant.

The Ad Blue pipe to the injector had failed at the fitting / connector - seems the AdB had not been spraying for some time in to the injector and we saw crystallisation of the stuff indicating a leak.

New Pipe, and gave it a hoof this morning and seems to be on top of the issue.
