Knocking from rear susp strut - Mik3 Golf Gti

Hi All,

Throwing this out to the massive - I've got a knocking coming from the rear drivers side suspension strut.

When driving about it get rather annoying knocking over small bumps, big bumpsm, fag papers etc.

I've taken the cap off the strut, and jumped up and down on the car to emulate the noise, and you can definitley hear it knocking - hell you can even see it almost catching on something (saw Dukes of Hazzard last night ;))

Would anyone have idea what is wrong?

Sounds like a bush has gone.....same noise as wifeys bora had.

Either new wishbone, steering rack or shocker needed I reckon, but without having a gander it's hard to say Neil.

Sounds like the top strut mount Neil, pop it over and i will have a look for you.
