hello anybody got any ideas my abs light is flashing on the dash the car has been standing for a while ive changed a sensor no luck any idea what it could be as the brakes are working fine cheers

What model golf?. Maybe ask a friendly VAG dealer to plug in their VAG-COM to see if there are any fault codes showing.

hello mate its a mk4 98 tdi a friend of mine has a reader and the ecu isnt giving out any infomation hope it isnt the ecu cheers

If the light is flashing intermittently, the ABS still works and there are no fault codes then it must be a short in the wiring somewhere. Is the ABS light in the dash instruments on a mk4?.

thanks for that the abs light is flashing in the dash instruments ive tried to remove the bulb but a buzzer goes off al check the wiring for a short tommorro cheers dave
