Passat B8.5 rear disc wear and corrosion

hello,

For a few months I'd noticed a very slight grating noise from the rear when applying brakes for the first time if the car hadn't beed used for a day or so.

Changed the disc and pads today and found that the inside face of both discs very corroded and one had a weird twin concentric wear pattern.
The outside face looked better but not fantastic.

Been working on my own cars for one 30 years but never seen this before...

Any ideas?
