Anyone had experience from Audi with warranty claims? They do a deal on the ‘all in’ package they do - didn’t know if anyone had good/bad experiences?

Just bought a an A5 35TDI S-Line F5 facelift 70-reg, if anyone can recommend anything also with regards things to look for? Known faults? Etc. thanks!

A few years ago now but I had the extended Audi warranty on a TTS for a few years. Never had any problems at all, just go to dealer and they sort it.

The best part of it was using Audi Assist to get a hire car and jump the queue at the dealer a couple of times. Always seemed to find a nice hire car too (S3 and S5 spring to mind).

I have a 2017 S5 Sportback - Approved used.

I the first year I had:
-Indicator stalk self cancelling was clicking loudly - had broken, covered

-Rear spring seat split causing water ingress and ride height was slightly higher on one side - Covered (although someone on my readers thread had the same thing and it wasn’t covered)

Trim isn’t covered, had a few rattles I’ve had to solution myself. I’ve had some water ingress into my side skirts too which are blocked which wasn’t covered although he told me they just drill a hole… so will DIY

I’ve extended mine after 1 year, mine was £1000 for 2 years - it’s slightly more for S and RS.

I’m told the extension is as good as approved used but it isn’t underwritten by them. For me it’s engine / transmission detonation insurance!

The biggest issue (that I found out) is the exclusion of wiring, and connections.
