Audi Meta Trak
Discussion
My wife has an SQ2 secured with a Meta Trak ID-Tag.
We got the standard "The battery in your ID-TAG is LOW, please replace as soon as possible to avoid FALSE ALERTS" message so I changed over the CR2032s.
Replaced them - didn't work. They kept calling my missus telling her her car had been stolen.
After a bit of argy-bargy Meta Trak told her that some CR2032s were incompatible with her key fob and the standard Duracell 2032s I used were not recognised by the fob itself.
I've ordered some non-branded 2032s off of Amazon and I'll try them tomorrow.
Just putting this out there in case anyone has similar issues.

NOT CAR RELATED WARNING!!
Funny you should mention that about CR2032 batteries, we've got a kitchen extractor and the remote uses those batteries and we thought that the remote had gone u/s because when we changed the batteries (tried several makes) it wouldn't work, eventually tried a generic CR2032 bought in the market and it now works fine (swap out for a Duracell or Eveready and it stops working so it IS the battery make that's the problem).
