Golf R Suspension creaking

Top mounts are a common culprit, but a more general inspection of front suspension is worthwhile to cover all bases.
Thanks. That was my thought as well. i have a slight misting of the front DCC dampers as well so getting top mounts done at the same time makes sense. its only done 30k miles so not heavily used Had the same problem with my 2018 R owned it from new and in was in mint condition but the creaking suspension became a real annoyance worse when driving slowly or turning slowly in reverse tried silicon spraying all the suspension bushes which helped but soon came back, mine also had DCC seems models with this option were more prone, this along with the possible pano roof surround cracking and gearbox software issues I decided to sell mine at only 17000mls and bought a new RS3 8Y

I deliberately avoided an R (in fact any car) with a sunroof after getting grief with AMG a number of years ago. I bought a sunroof-less 7.5 manual R and fitted Ohlins almost immediately. No creaking and no gearbox software issues. Had I your money I would have just bought the RS3 instead though Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
