UP! Gti remap. South-West

Hi, I'm looking to get a Stage 1 remap on our Up Gti. Many owners up North seem to go to JBS but I don't particularly spending all day driving up to and hanging around in Chesterfield if the same thing can be done locally. I've also heard the Racingline maps are good. Can anyone recommend someone who can carry out a quality remap in the South West?

I'm similar to you. JBS is as far for me, but I want to know what people's views are who have had a JBS tune to their Up GTI.

Not up north but i used Celtic tuning diwn south but i think they have a few places and mobile installers around the country.
Cost more in the end as had to disable traction control and fit better bigger tyres to the car , it just wanted to spin up all the time.

Performance Engineering in Cardiff are excellent if you don't mind crossing into Wales, it's a one man operation, but Nate is a former Revo development tech and really knows his stuff! He did wonders with my Golf R.

Failing that, I'd have a look at Revo / APR and use one of their offically resellers, they have to be a reasonable standard to keep them.

I've been involved with the VW (SEAT) tuning scene for around 15 years now.

I'd look to use a tried and tested off the shelf tune for Stage 1, Racingline (Previously called Volkswagen Racing) are very decent, I live local to them, their head mapper is Ben who previously ran Shark Performance. APR were my tuner of choice and there is also REVO.

JBS I had a very bad experience with them years ago and wouldn't give them any £££, without looking at JBS claiming a bigger power gain than other people?
