Audi A6 C6 Avant - possible wiper upgrade?

Just swapped the rear wiper arm on my wife’s A6 because the plastic clips had snapped off. When putting the new one on the clips also failed.



Rather than buy another arm like this, only to break it, I was thinking whether it might be possible to fit a rear arm for an A6 C7 which has the aero blade and a better fitting. Has anyone done this?
