My first post in the Audi forums smile

I am about to take delivery of a 2023 RS4 Avant and need some protection for the boot area and rear seats. Audi only shows a small tray as their offering for boot protection but I was hoping for something more substantial, preferably with higher sides so any pointers towards an option used by people here would be greatly appreciated thumbup

Also, rear seat covers. Audi doesn't appear to offer rear seat covers via its options list so any pointers towards a set of these that fit well and offer strong protection would be most welcome thumbup

I have two muck magnet cocker spaniels who will be transported in the car, either in the back or on the rear seats depending on number of people with us at the time so need to ensure the boot compartment and rear seats are protected as much as possible.

Thanks in advance smile

Percy.

I have a B9 S4 Avant and I purchased a Hatchbag boot liner as we have a Doberman. Company is based in the North West and make boot liners specific to each car model.

For the rear seats Id find a good dog hammock.

For the boot as above hatchbags are pricey but the best out there.

Rather than spec the fold out flap for the liner though Id spend a little more and get PPF fitted to the top of the bumper.

Most PPF installers will have access to a specific bumper top template and wont be that expensive.

If it’s not too late to answer Audi do offer a full boot liner for the A4. I negotiated the tray shell into my purchase of an RS4. Might worth a chat to the dealer to see if they’ll throw it in on the deal?
Hope you enjoy your car, I absolutely love mine as a do everything set of surprisingly fast wheels.

You could also take a look at “ over the top “ who do both boot and rear seat protection.
We looked at the large boot filler but decided it was a faff to take in and out if we needed to so just went with the tray.
Congrats on the car - my wife got hers in November and arguably if you only needed 1 car to do everything it’s this one.

We have had hatchbags in all our estate cars and they fit like a glove, with lots of options to choose, although you need to decide and do this at the checkout as they can’t be added later.

We have the luggage compartment liner from Audi and it works very well. That along with the ppf film to cover the top of the bumper to stop scratches as the dog jumps in.

I use this https://www.premierproductsltd.co.uk/product/audi-... with the Audi boot liner underneath.
Im a handyman and carry all sorts of stuff in the boot, tools, building materials and paint.
No damage yet.

I'm sure you know this but there's a fabric dog guard/ luggage net that pulls up from the back seats and anchors on the roof lining. This foils my dog's usp of putting his head between the rear headrests and dribbling down the back seats, so I don't bother to cover them. Plastic rear tray and a bed/ blanket in the back!
