Mk7 Golf 1.5 TFSi Spark Plug change interval

Hello folks, my other half has 2019 Mk7 Golf 1.5 TFSi that is due a 2yr/24,000 mile service.
VW have quoted £508 for a service whereas I was expecting it to be around half that based on this link: https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/owners-and-service...
Their quote include spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter and brake fluid.
The car has only done 15,000 miles so is replacing the spark plugs essential (to keep warranty valid for example) or is that just a massive overkill?

I think that link is a bit disingenuous tbh. The full service will be more than what what they listed in the £255 price. The brake fluid is extra. Recommended but personally I would make it last another year. I don't remember ever changing my spark plugs on my Golf.

Actually going through my records they did start doing spark plugs but only for the last 2 services. The early services did not include spark plugs at all. I suspect they add it to the service now to basically screw the punter. i don't think it needs to be done, not at your sort of mileage.

My Mk7.5 1.5 has just had the 3 year/30k service - they changed the spark plugs and air filter as part of it.
I've had Toyotas before that used iridium plugs that only required changing every 60/75k miles but the ones in the golf must just be ordinary ones.
To avoid any issues, I would go with the recommendation to change them. That way if you need to call on the VW warranty, or see about goodwill, there shouldn't be any problem.
A service plan is worthwhile, I paid £580 for two services, one minor and one major. You can buy them from VW online - if there isn't a waiting period you could take one out before the service and in effect get the next one for free.
Brake fluid is extra, mine was done last year. But the cabin and air filter are included. Watch out, they have recently started showing two different levels of service plan - one just has the very basics.
On the golf with fixed mileage servicing, my services are every 9k miles.
