My wife is missing not being able to select some of her favorite radio programmes because the standard radio/disc player is not DAB. She previously had a Polo gt which had DAB and a disc player.
Any suggestions on the best replacement units that will look ok in the dashboard and still retain the cd player.
My Google search has not been helpful.
Thanks

Sounds like she wants to add DAB to the standard head unit; you should be able to use something like a Dension DAB+U.

Thanks for that, it looks initially more complicated than I had envisaged, I will have to dig further into your suggestion.

a simple £20 bluetooth dongle would allow phone connection if that helps for the use of radio player apps, spotify etc.
depends how fussy she is with her tech.

Thanks, everyone for all the suggestions. It would seem to be that is not going to be a simple job or a cheap one, will require a lot of thought and research on the suggestions, I am a layman where electronics are concerned and my aging body does not take kindly to contortion antics. One of the nuisance things is the separate aerial which I know will annoy her.
Thanks again.

There is a cheap alternative.

Add Bluetooth and stream from your phone.

Bluetooth adapters on eBay are about £15
