Just looking at the fuse box ready to hardwire the dashcam. The hardwire kit comes with a fuse piggy back to you can pick up the feed from an existing fuse slot. There’s a number of unused fuse slots and I curious to know, is there a live feed to the unused slots of the fusebox does anyone know ?

Easy enough to test if you have a voltmeter or simply plug it in and see but probably not.

But beware of piggy-backing the 'wrong' fuse. It may not be the same on all models but I wanted a neat cable to power a speed camera warning device rather than have it plugged into the lighter socket on my S4, so I used a piggy-back off one of the fuses in the end of the dash and, when connected I couldn't stop the engine, it would just keep running even if I took the key out.

Connected it to a different fuse and all was fine, I can't remember which one though.
