Hi all.

A day or two after a recent trip to the garage for MOT fail related items (brakes and rocker cover oil leak) an EPC warning light appeared.

The garage noted the faults and clear them. They are:

P3078 Throttle Valve Control
P1292 MAP Control Engine Cooling

P1358 Ignition Act Cyl
P0322 Ign distrib
P0321 Ign Distributor

I had some misfiring about 10 months ago, knew ignition coils could be it and changed the two originals remaining (two aftermarket coils had already been fitted by a previous owner) which solve the problem. I imagine the last 3 faults are related to that event not having being cleared until now.

EDIT: the issue manifests as difficulty starting the car from cold. EPC light comes on, the idle speed is higher than normal at 1100rpm and the engine runs lumpy.

If I turn off the engine (even immediately after the cold start) and start it again: the engine starts easily, the EPC light remains off and the engine runs smoothly and tickover at a normal 800rpm or so.

Is there any easy fix or something I can do? I could bring it to the garage but thought to ask here first.

Thanks
