FWIW I was looking at these and was only really interested in ones without the mag ride because they're expensive to fix.

Cheers all. Found out you can’t order a R8 with mag ride now anyway. Been taken off the options list

Really? Or is it off the options list because it's standard?

I'm happy with magride on my 2010 V10, even though I know I'm staring down the barrel of a couple of replacement shocks imminently.

No I rang a local Audi dealer and they confirmed no Audi now ordered new will have magnetic ride. The current r8 will stop production quite soon as well

I've got it on my 2022 Carbon Black edition and the only that makes me feel a bit sick is the depreciation !

LOL, I just found it to feel artificial and floaty and bouncy. I have a version (I guess) on my RS4, which feels good.

Interesting - I’ve not found that so obvs I’m not driving it hard enough
I’ve also got an 2022 RS4 but don’t think that has mag ride.

Can I ask you guys with r8. What colour you would choose ?
I’m going with Suzuka grey and the gold wheels ?

To an extent depends on how long you plan on keeping it ie if a planned keeper then go for what you like and job done.
Suzuka is different in the flesh v photos and my choice if I hadn’t been able to get Exclusive - Merlin Purple.
Personally not convinced about the bronze wheels with that but that’s purely personal so ignore me.
I do think the additional carbon pack would be good with Suzuka though.
What are doing interior wise ?

Which with Suzuka will look good.
Those seats are pretty good , supportive and much more adjustable than the Buckets although I thought hard about getting the Buckets but my wife wasn’t keen !

I’m worried Suzuka will look too much like white if you know what I mean. What about Daytona for the r8 ?

Yes it can do on maybe a dull day - off white perhaps but with Carbon and those wheels just different enough not to be mistaken for white.
Daytona is a very classy colour and being Pearl paint looks great.
It’s not too dark for the Carbon contrast either.
With those bronze wheels it will definitely stand out.
I seem to recall that Daytona on various sites has previously been voted as the best colour for an R8.

What about White with a few stripes?

Based on those 2 specs I’d probably veer towards Daytona.
If black diamond turned wheels then Suzuka.
I’m assuming PTS / Exclusive no longer available ?
