VW Service history search?

Hi,

Is it possible to carry out a search of VW databases for service history and does anyone have access to this type of thing that could help me out?

I bought a car that is missing its paper history, it's old - 1994 - and would just be nice to know what sort of servicing happened at VW during its life.

I'm looking to restore the car (for myself) and any paper trail I can build from the early days would be nice to have.

Ok rang VW Head Office who directed me to my local dealer. Will wait until DVLA have returned the V5 in hand before I approach.
