Removing Polo Glovebox
Discussion
I need to remove the glovebox to replace the heater resistor.
I have seen serval Youtube videos where the airbag light is triggered as it's necessary to remove the passenger airbag control switch.
Is there a way that you can remove to glovebox (or get to the resistor) without trigging the light?

I would have thought as long as you don't switch on the ignition while the switch is disconnected, you won't get a warning light. Is there a way that you can remove to glovebox (or get to the resistor) without trigging the light?
If you do power up with the switch disconnected to test the resistor you replaced and get a warning light, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery once the switch is reconnected should clear the light.
