I need to remove the glovebox to replace the heater resistor.

I have seen serval Youtube videos where the airbag light is triggered as it's necessary to remove the passenger airbag control switch.

Is there a way that you can remove to glovebox (or get to the resistor) without trigging the light?

I would have thought as long as you don't switch on the ignition while the switch is disconnected, you won't get a warning light.

If you do power up with the switch disconnected to test the resistor you replaced and get a warning light, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery once the switch is reconnected should clear the light.

Disconnect the battery, do the job, reconnect the battery.
