“Slight oil misting around turbo area” was noted on the last service (mk6 golf GTi)

The mechanic didn’t seem overly concerned, but should I be? I like to keep my cars for the long run and have no inclination to change it.

Is this a sign of impending failure? Or do I like have many more happy miles yet?

I don’t mind spending the occasional big bill to keep the car going, but I did the clutch 12 months ago and would rather not have another 4 figure bill so soon!

The mechanic isn’t concerned. That should tell you a lot.
Where is the oil coming from? Without knowing that minor detail, nobody can advise.

He didn’t specify where, I’ve quoted what was on the invoice above. I’ll not be concerned for now and start putting some pennies away for it!
