After a succession of Skodas including a Superb 1 and 4 Fabias I'm now back with my Superb 2 which I bought yesterday to replace my well used Passat estate. I now own a 2010 Superb Elegance 2.0tdi estate, very clean with just north of 100k on the clock.

The driver's heated seat doesn't work, the button illuminates but nothing happens, all the other electric functions work on both the driver's and passenger's seat, the heating also works on the passenger seat. So the only thing that doesn't work is the actual heating of the driver's seat.

I've checked the fuses and all OK, has anyone been here before and can tell me what to look for?

Logically speaking, next step is to check for a dodgy connection under the seat. Failing that the heating element itself.

BE CAREFUL as there may well be airbag connections under there too.

I concur. Got a set of leather bmw seats from an E91 to use in the man cave, electrically adjustable. I needed to alter the back rest angle on one so started trial and error to see which wires adjusted which motor connected to a 12v battery. Totally slipped my mind that there were side airbags in there. I was at the front of one seat bent down when the side bag exploded. Scared the st out of me! Glad I wasn't at the side of it at the time. flames
