VAG Production / Delivery Delays
Discussion
Is anyone else experiencing extensive delays on their VAG new car orders?
I have a new company car on order, Skoda Octavia vRS iV Estate, ordered Nov '21 with still no confirmed build date.
A colleague has a similar Audi A3 on order which is in the same position.
I know the full industry is having a bit of a supply nightmare at present, but VAG seems to be the worst offenders.

Misses ordered a Cupra Formentor in March for Nov/Dec delivery. Beed told no date available for build slot. Someone at VW has told me they are allocating new orders now for build slots, but wont confirm on existing orders until.....no-one knows...!!??? Seems bizarre, but mentioned something about a change in price might be the reason. (Been told this by 3 completely different sources).
Just currently trying to decide if she wants a stock one at more cost for late Jan delivery.

If you order the two tone paint option on the new ID Buzz dealers are getting in contact and asking if you want to delay your order or change to a single colour and keep your place in the queue.
One dealer said they could rap the bottom half for around £1500.00
They are a few up for sale on auto trader for £72-73k first editions which came basically fully loaded when they retailed for £62 k plus options
Is there still premium people are still prepared to pay to be seen in the latest car.
