RS4 b8 suspension query

Hi all
RS4 2014
I had my brakes in bits giving everything a clean and lube whilst checking pad and disc condition.
I spotted a small link arm coming off the lower suspension leg leading to plastic arm onto a switch.
Google does not have any info on whst it does.
Its just normal suspension, not DRC.
Can anyone help with what it is for

Probably part of the auto levelling system for the headlights.
