Spotted a 64 plate 1 litre Polo for sale (suitable for learner son who is approaching 17) but the management light is on. Seller says the code shows low battery voltage but I see a similar problem a few years ago on the MoT sheet. You'd have thought a new battery would have sorted it then.
Appreciate this is a shot in the dark - car apparently runs OK and has a fresh MoT, but any thoughts, usual suspects for the problem?
Thanks

It's the classic, "just needs a cheap and easy fix".

As ever, if it was a cheap and easy fix the seller would have had it fixed.

Oh, agree totally, but if the sale price is low enough to warrant the purchase and repair.......

And sometimes it can be an easy fix but the seller is unaware

you're taking their word that's what the error code relates to.

Also if they've been driving about with the EML on for a few years what else have they been turning a blind eye to?

What price would WBAC knock you down for an EML being on?

Yes, very true and apparently it's been for sale before and it's back up for another try.
Price too high for me now anyway
