2021 Skoda Karoq alarm
Discussion
Can't find anything in the manual about turning off the alarm system. Was on the Caen-Portsmouth sea crossing a couple of weeks ago and there was an announcement to turn off the alarm before leaving the car deck. Couldn't find how to do this and kept getting 'phone alerts that the alarm was going off during the crossing. I did leave the car unlocked when I left it thinking that the alarm wouldn't operate but of course the car self locked after a few minutes. It's just the movement/motion alarm that needs to be turned off and not the interior monitoring.
Thought I'd try here first before trundling off to the dealer to see if there is a solution.
PS On older models there used to be a switch on the "B" pillar but newer models don't have this.

I know nothing about Skodas. But, every car I've ever had only self locks if you don't open the doors. (i.e. unlock the car, open the door, shut the door and the car doesn't self lock)
? (But maybe Skodas are different)
