Hi, love the forum, but first time poster. I couldn't find a thread for this specifically.
I'm looking to buy a 2007ish Audi TT 3.2 V6 for some weekend fun, and hopefully a bit of a run around.
My budget means it will have a few miles under its belt, 70k/90k.
Any advice for a novice car lover on what to look for (or avoid) in a good example would be appreciated?
Thanks in advance!

I've just skimmed through that and a few things I didn't see (though may have missed).

Window regulators will fail at some point and aren't cheap or easy to do yourself.

The DSG on mine was slow and clunky when cold.

Door handles will freeze.

Check tyres for even tread depth, front to back. The Pirelli's I had skipped over small unevenness when below 5mm, which is common, apparently.

Check the VED rates eek. Expect 25-30mpg, though I think 12 was my lowest.

It's quite a comfortable car, so easy to live with in that respect (mk3 is much stiffer) but felt planted. Kept it 8 years in the end until I thought I really ought to get something newer.

Much more knowledge than I have can be found on the TT Forum.

Had mine for just over a year now, great car for 90% of my needs (great everyday sports car though would say more leaning to gt cruiser than sports). Mines an S line which doesn’t make a huge difference other than different body kit and 10mm lower suspension. Look for what optional extras you want and don’t want (could get electric seats, Bose south system and mag ride which mine don’t have for example which I see as a good thing as less to go wrong. Any questions just ask
