Audi a6 Allroad pre 2019 vs post 2019

An Audi A6 Allroad is on my shortlist. has anyone owned both the pre 2019 model and the post 2019 model? Can you give me a comparison? I have read of significant lag when setting off and believe this is a deliberate anti emissions measure. Is the pre 2019 model also afflicted with this? Were there any major improvements with the newer model? I see the engine outputs are slightly different, was the engine totally redesigned? I'd be very grateful for any feedback

Sorry can't directly respond to your question but I'm also really interested to know of any ownership experiences with these. Thinking about replacing our Passat Alltrack with one. Only concern is proliferation of touch screens in the latest one.
