Hi all.

Just purchased a mk4 Golf R32 today. I noticed on the test drive that the front discs vibrate under heavy braking, so i'll want to get a set ordered up.

So a couple of things -

(a) what brand(s) do people recommend?
(b) where is the cheapest supplier? I dont mind ordering them from a German supplier for example, if thats the cheapest source. I'm in no particular rush
(c) Are there any gotchas in terms of disk size or anything i should be aware of when ordering?

Thanks in advance 🙂

If it were my car I’d use something from Brembo and get them from Autodoc.
Delivery around a week whenever I’ve ordered stuff.
Euro car parts do stock Brembo as well but I’m not sure on the quality from them.
I’ve used Pagid from Euro in the past and not had any issues but some say that the quality has gone down hill which is disappointing.

The cheapest source for a recommended product is going to be Brembo from Autodoc. Add them to your basket on the app and wait until Monday to order (biggest discount). Add the code GAINSEN20 for an extra 2% off the discounted price.

I like Brembo Maxx Xtra.

I've had no issues with Pagid kit either, and buy it often.

I use Tarox F2000 discs, probably the best. Also Ferodo DS2500 pads, then you can do the odd track day as well...if not tracking then the best quality road pad that you can find.
