Hey piston headers
I've noticed this car has been for sale for ages, got sold last month and returned back to the dealer! Does anyone know the history or what's up?

Am looking for a similar car but have seen this one around for ages

Can't say a recent keeper change; did they tell you it had been sold and returned?

If it really has been on sale a long time they may well simply have pulled the ad for a while and relisted later. Commonly used tactic among dealers.

The market for higher mileage RS6s is limited. With that many miles it could be really nice or could be utterly hammered. Entirely down to how it's been used and maintained.

Big hole from 41-87k in its service history probably doesn't help.

an almost 50K mile hole in the service history would probably warrant the return of any approved used car ?

and what's with the 4 MOT's in the one year ?

Dr G is trade.

Car has certainly been used; that fuel bill ouch!. Very odd MOT history as has been said.

It's only taken 15 miles and a short period of time for all of the brake discs to become advisories and the rear brake pads to wear thin!!!

When it arrives I'll post some photos of RS4 brake discs that a main dealer just told the owner were in good order.

I've seen thicker pieces of paper.

thanks for the responses chaps. the car is definitely not worth it - in the grand scheme of things spending a bit more on a non performance car with a straightforward history and far fewer miles is a better bet, or even about 10ish k more for a PE again with fewer miles.

The SH gap is apparently due to some long commute the previous dentist owner did between Newcastle and Greetland or similar...

Also, imagine the aggro associated with trying to sell this thing some years down the line.

They should really firesale it via the Sytner Auction! Either that or theyre waiting for a buyer who isnt fastidious to come along and buy it. my (basic) questions must have scared them off.

It does seem the prices of RS6 in Audi garages are falling at the moment . Or maybe it’s just me . Does anyone track them - mainly 2016 model .
